Barbie Chic: Unveiling Glamour at Atlantis The Royal in pink and black outfit

I am also showcasing a black evening cocktail dress as a contrast to all the pink in my Barbie outfit.

So, I have wanted to go for dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants at Atlantis The Royal for some time now. And if your wonder why, well take a look at this video:

Furthermore, I wanted to take the opportunity to dress up as Barbie and use the beautiful

location to get som great pictures. And since I had several new outfits i decided to bring one additional outfit for shooting!

Outfit 1: Black Cocktail Dress

Unveiling glamour in a beautiful black cocktail dress from a new brand named Shinenisky (will link the outfits at the end of the blog).

The dress is beautiful, very comfortable to wear, and perfect for a formal dinner, red carpet, or just a date at a in a magnificent location. Since the dress already has some details that stands out I choose to keep the accessories understated for the dress to shine. Since it is summer I choose som classic stiletto sandals from Saint Laurent, a simple bracelet and some rings, as well as hair clips to keep my bob haircut style in place!

This dress is very elegant and I am so happy that I was able to wear this in this great location.

Outfit 2

With the new Barbie movie every girl is looking for their version of a perfect Barbie Chic pink outfit! I purchased a pair of beautiful pink boots some time ago and had not found the right occasion to wear them. As a fashion stylist, sometimes I am fortunate to get approached by brands that wants to collaborate with me and this is how I got hold of this beautiful Barbie mini dress with long sleeves! An outfit that seamlessly blends with the lavish ambiance of Atlantis The Royal.

Atlantis the Royal is such a great location for shooting! Firstly, the place is huge and has so many good spots for getting those perfect pictures. Weather you are in the lobby, outside in one the courtyards, or at one of their many restaurants! Like me in Ling Ling.

I love this mini dress and the details of the finishing. It is quite unique to most other mini dresses I have come across and it is very comfortable to wear. As you can see most of my accessories are pink, except from the pearl necklace and the rings which gives a nice contrast to the rest of the outfit, and that high-fashion feeling. The boots are simple yet stylish (but not for walking long distances), and I chose these boots because they complement the rest of my outfit without taking attention away from the mini dress.

During the summer months Dubai is less busy and on this afternoon/evening I was able to get so many great pictures at different places at the hotel.

In my next post (which will be live September 7th) I will write about the job of a fashion stylist when working with a fashion designer on a photo shoot for a new collection. It is great fun and rewarding working with something you are passionate about. But it is also a lot of work and long hours. It takes a keen eye for details, planning and pre-work, coordination with photographers and make-up artists, to ensure that the vision of the client comes to life. And at the day of the shoot you need to be 100% focused and able to change-up things, adapt your styling from the agreed mood board, and work together with the photographer to get the best possible pictures.
